Jack Hedden of Silver Ridge Park North section of Berkeley Township, passed away on Tuesday, May 29, 2007, at Kimball Medical Center, Lakewood. Visitation will be at the QuinnHopping Funeral Home of Toms River, 26 Mule Rd., on Saturday from 1 to 5 p.m. The funeral service will be offered at 5 p.m. that day. Cremation will be private. Born in Irvington, Mr. Hedden lived in Toms River for the past 20-plus years. He served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War and was a construction supervisor for the N.J. Turnpike Authority. He was predeceased by his parents, Alfred and Florence Hedden, and his daughter, Diane Hedden. Surviving are his wife Marion (nee Karlovich); his children, John Hedden, Frederick Hedden and his wife, Arleen, Terri and her husband, John Christ, Kelly Reddington, James Hedden and his wife, Erika, Daniel Hedden and his wife, Alisha, Debra Parenty and her husband, Jeffrey, and Edward Hedden; stepchildren, AJ Cross III and his wife, Barbara, and Daniel Cross; 23 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; brothers, Alfred J. Hedden and his wife, Catherine, and Robert Hedden and his wife, Barbara, and four nieces and four nephews.
