Pamela Jane Thomas, 65, of Orange, Texas, passed away on February 29, 2020, in Beaumont, Texas.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 4, 2020, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange. Officiating will be Reverend Stephen Hudnall. Burial will follow at Jett Cemetery in Orange.

Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 3, 2020, at Claybar Funeral Home in Orange.

Born in Dumas, Texas, on November 26, 1954, she was the daughter of Hirman D. Hinson and Betty Jo (Prince) Hinson. Pam retired after working as an assistant service manager at HEB for a number of years. She was a member of Oak Grove Tabernacle in Hartburg, where her son-in-law and daughter are pastors. Pam loved traveling to new places, camping and swimming with her family. She adored her family and loved to laugh. Pam also enjoyed making crafts, painting, and music. Her Texas pride shone through in much of her artwork and she passed along her love of music to her children. She always took pride in her appearance, never leaving the house without making sure her hair and makeup were perfect, even if it was just to check the mail. Pam will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Hirman D. and Betty Jo Hinson; and her sister, Tricia Hinson.

She is survived by her children, Kyle Oldbury and wife Josephine, and Kirsten Hudnall and husband Stephen, all of Orange; her granddaughter, Zoey Drew Hudnall; and her sister, Judith Olson and husband Kris of Orange.

Serving as pallbearers will be Jeff Condrey, Seth Condrey, Sean Condrey, Christopher Condrey, Jess Farias, Brendan Farias, Jesse Farias, and Joshua Saenz. Honorary pallbearers are Paul Joseph Hasty, Pete Saenz, David Lopez, and Kris Olson.
