Robert Gene Sperry has been reunited with his mother and father with God. His reunion began February 26, 2020. He was tired and left silently but peacefully in his sleep in the early morning hours.

Robert was born October 30, 1965, in Jacksonville, North Carolina. He was the first born to a Marine drill sargent and a beautiful Scandinavian mother.

He spent the first few years in Neptune City, New Jersey. After his father's retirement from the service, his dad was looking for a place where he could find better work to care for his family. So, father packed up the car, took his wife, Robert, sister, Shirley and baby brother, Michael and drove off looking for a new life. Fortunately, they finally arrived in Texas and Texas is where they stayed.

Robert attended Burton Hill Elementary School, Stripling Middle School, and then he graduated Arlington Heights High School in 1984, all in Fort Worth. He was a very talented musician. He played in the Heights marching band all four years. he also was in school stage band. After graduation, he was a bass player for a classic rock band called, The Boys. He played venuses all over Fort Worth, Arlington, and grad Prairie.

Robert was a self made man. He was a mechanic by trade. Robert could take apart and rebuild anything from clocks, radios, air conditioners, heaters, cars, trucks, motorcycles, anything. Anyone who needed anything fixed, Robert was the man they called.

Robert is preceded in his early life by his dear parents, Howard Robert Sperry and Kirsti Sinikka Jouvonen Sperry. He temporarily leaves behind his best friend and love, Carman Jill Boles, his dear sister, Shirley Sperry Valterria and his baby brother, Michael "Pickle" Sperry. He also leave behind his two children whom he loved dearly, his daughter, Briane Sperry and son, Justin Sperry; two nephews; two nieces; and numerous extended family members and family friends in Texas and in Finland.
