Aaron Lee "Dogg" Walker, Sr., 43, of Windsor and Franklin Arthur "Kane" Spencer, Jr., 42, of East Hartford and both formerly of Hartford, passed away on Saturday, February 22, 2020.

After Aaron's mother died at a young age, Aaron and Franklin were raised together as brothers and an inseparable bond was created that would last the rest of their lives until their untimely deaths.

Aaron was born in Hartford on June 18, 1976, son of Lawrence Walsh and the late Darlene Walker. He attended Hartford Public Schools and was a graduate of C.A. Barbour Elementary School, Quirk Middle School, and Hartford Public High School, Class of 1994. After high school, Aaron continued his education at Manchester Community College where he received an Associates Degree in Culinary Arts. While growing up in Hartford, Aaron also attended the Classical Magnet School where he developed his passion for music and the arts. He loved Hip Hop music, playing basketball with his friends, and spending time with his family. Aaron was always particular about his appearance and loved making sure his sneakers and his clothes were always perfect. After college, he worked as a claim examiner for 10 years at The Aetna Insurance Company before following his passion for cooking. Aaron moved to Atlanta, GA and took a position at Nordstrom in the store's restaurant. After moving back to Connecticut five years ago, he continued his work at Nordstrom as a chef at their store in the Westfarms Mall. Aaron's family will remember his dependability, his desire to help others, and his role as "The Peacemaker" in the family. He always wanted everyone to get along and supported his family and friends through everything in life.

He leaves to mourn his passing, his father, Lawrence Walsh and his wife Barbara of Bloomfield; his adopted mother, Lenda Spencer of Hartford; two children, Aaron Lee Walker, Jr. and Arianna Walker both of Marietta, GA; a granddaughter, Akeelah Walker; four sisters, Tasha Walker of Windsor, Latress Walker Barber and her husband Curtis of East Hartford, and Eddie Glass and Ginger Holloway both of Hartford; four brothers, Eric Spencer and his wife Ebony Ellis of Windsor, Jason Spencer and Larry Holloway both of Hartford, and Tony Walsh of Jamaica; and 16 nieces and nephews.

Aaron and Franklin's families will receive friends on Friday, March 6, 4-6 p.m., followed by a Homegoing Service at 6 p.m., at The Lodge Community Chapel, 130 Deerfield Rd., Windsor. Entombment will be private in the Hillside Mausoleum in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Hartford. Memorial contributions in memory of Aaron and Franklin may be made to the Sickle Cell Disease Association of America, Southern Connecticut Chapter, 545 Whalley Ave, New Haven, CT 06511. Aaron and Franklin's families have entrusted the Carmon Windsor Funeral Home with the arrangements. For online condolences please visit, www.carmonfuneralhome.com.
