Nancy Staggs, age 75, of Doddridge, Arkansas went to be with the Lord Friday, February 28, 2020 in an Atlanta, Texas adult care facility.

Nancy was born May 2, 1944 in Perry County, Arkansas to William and Alma Payne. She loved the Dallas Cowboys and Arkansas Razorbacks, but most of all, she loved being a Mom and Granny. Nancy enjoyed old gospel music and was a member of Cross Creek Cowboy Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Dee Staggs, her parents, and 8 brothers.

She is survived by one son, Mark Staggs and wife Veneda of Kilgore, Texas; three daughters, Mary Wiley and husband Joe Greene of Monroe, Georgia, Sherell Blankenship of Doddridge, Arkansas, Sonya Robertson and husband Donald Cody of Perryville, Arkansas; brother, Donald Payne and wife Linda; sister Wilma Quad; eleven grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives.

Funeral services will be 2:00 pm, Monday, March 2, 2020 at the Cross Creek Cowboy Church, under the direction of Hanner Funeral Service with Bro. Paul Murdock officiating.

Visitation will be Monday, March 2, 2020 from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm at the Cross Creek Cowboy Church.

Interment will be in Cross Creek Cowboy Church Cemetery.
