Donnie Ray Cooper, age 63, passed away February 27, 2020, at the home of his special friend, Cassandra Barr Cooper Riggs. Donnie was born December 1, 1956, in Maysville, Kentucky, to the late Robert Allen and Evelyn Ruark Cooper.
Donnie is survived by: his wife, Sheila Fultz Cooper; two daughters, Raye Dawn Cooper (Jeff), of Mount Orab, Ohio, and Donna Riggs (Chuck), of Maysville; a special friend, Cassandra Riggs, mother of his daughter, Anna Cooper; five grandchildren, Matthew Stevens (Kyleen), Tony Fite, Kaelyn Henning, Ravon Morton and Raydyn Morton; four great- grandchildren, Willa, Waylee, Killian and Freya; three step-children, Misti Tucker, Zachery Tucker and Harley Tucker; a step-granddaughter, Remington Tucker; a brother, Chester Cooper (Ronnett); and three sisters, Pecola Cooper (David), Kathy Buerkley (Mark) and Margie Cooper. Besides his parents, Donnie was preceded in death by: a brother, Jerry Cooper; and a sister, Judy Klicker.
Visitation will be from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. Monday, March 2, at Brell and Son Funeral Home. Per Donnie’s wishes, there will not be a funeral service.
