Naomi was the 6th of 7 children born to Berl Dee and Frona Beartrice Johnson Simpkins, on March 8, 1942. She was the only girl and was greatly loved by all her 6 brothers. She was born in Wichita Falls Texas, and was only two years old when the family moved to Sunnyvale California in the summer of 1944. In 1960, she graduated from Fremont High School in Sunnyvale. After High School, she married Crispin Woelfer and they had two children; Cory and Crisan. This marriage ended in divorce in 1968, and she was subsequently married three additional times without success, to Fred Webb, Harold Hannon and Gardner Taylor.
Naomi had many talents and enjoyed several occupations; of which one of the most satisfying was raising seven breeds of puppies for sale. At that time she was living in a town called Kansas Oklahoma. In about 2015 she began to exhibit symptoms of dementia, and her son Cory and his wife Dana moved her into their home in Jones Oklahoma where they cared for her through her progressive problem, until she succumbed to it and passed away July 1st, 2017. Naomi was known and loved by countless family and friends, and is deeply missed.
