Ben was born on April 27, 1927 in Pleasant Green, MO the son of Henry and Lena Simmons who preceded him in death. He was married on July 13, 2003 in New Franklin, MO to Bonnie Enochs. He was a veteran of the US Army and retired from National Bi-Products in Blackwater, MO.
Ben is survived by his wife, Bonnie Simmons of the home; eight children, 17 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by son, Raymond Simmons, daughter, Brenda Johnston and four brothers.
