Josh was a member of the Parkview Baptist Church of De Soto and participated in track and basketball through the Special Olympics. He was an avid basketball fan and enjoyed watching his nephew play. He also liked playing X-Box, “Hot Tamales” and spending quality time with his family especially his nephew and niece.
Survived by his loving parents, Jeff and Cindy Thompson of Valle Mines, Missouri, brothers, Matthew Brinkman (Amanda) of DeSoto, Missouri, and Adam Thompson of DeSoto, Missouri, niece, Olivia Brinkman and nephew, Chase Brinkman both of DeSoto, Missouri and numerous other aunts, uncles, cousins and many dear friends.
He was preceded in death by, a brother Steven James Brinkman and his grandparents, Donald and Flora Brinkman, and Howard and Patricia Thompson.
