Brian L. Farmer, age 53, loving son, father and friend to everyone, died peacefully in his sleep at his home in Tennessee, Sunday, August 24, 2014.

He was preceded in death by father, George L. Farmer, Sr.; brother, Lee Farmer, Jr., and survived by his mother, Helen R. Farmer; brother, Keith A. Farmer; daughter, Kristal Farmer; son, Cody Aguda Farmer; 3 grandsons, Clayton, Jonathan and Aiden; and special girlfriend, Michelle Christy.

Brian, a luthier with extensive knowledge of music, was born in Nashville. He worked with countless musicians, including Johnny Cash and June Carter Cash, The Allman Brothers Band, Warren Haynes Band and Gov't Mule.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at one o'clock in the afternoon Friday, August 29, 2014 at Woodlawn Roesch-Patton Funeral Home.

A Gathering of Friends will be held from four o'clock in the afternoon until eight Thursday, August 28, 2014 at Woodlawn Roesch-Patton Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of your choice or to MusiCares @ Grammy.org, or to the Multiple Sclerosis Society.
