Rita Joyce Hart, 69, of Corsicana, passed away on February 28, 2020. Burial will be at Eastland City Cemetery.
Rita was born on December 16, 1950, in Eastland, Texas, to the late Carter Coulter and Ella Joy Bearden Hart. A resident of Corsicana and a member of Northside Baptist Church for more than 40 years, a trip to the store with her was like being out with a celebrity. She knew everybody, and everybody knew her. Rita loved to teach Sunday School, sing in the choir, spend time with her family, and was a talented artist.
She was preceded in death by her youngest sister, Joan Marie Hart.
She leaves behind her sisters: Carol Gilbert and her husband, Henry, of Arlington, Lee Ann Collins and her husband, Bryan, of Kaufman, and Lana Warren and her husband, Ed, of Humble; nephews: Cary Gilbert and his wife, Tempy, Eric Collins, Jason Collins and his wife, Krystal, Carter Gilbert and wife April, Sean Davault and his wife, Tonya, and Joshua Davault and his wife, Amanda, and Scott Willis; nieces, Caron Crumley, and Heather Sheffield and her husband, Ian; 17 great-nieces and nephews; and many other extended family members.
