Paul was a resident of Dayton all of his life. He was a Rhea County high school graduate Class of ’53 and served his country for nine years with the US National Guard. Paul was employed with the City of Dayton for 47 years as the Superintendent for the Electric Department. He enjoyed cycling, was part of the Senior Olympics for many years, and was an avid golfer. Paul was a member of the New Union Baptist Church in Dayton.
His is survived by his wife of 57 years, Brenda (Roddy) Hill of Dayton; his son, Stacey (Michelle) Hill of Dayton; daughter, Sherri (Matt) Henderson of Sevierville; brother, Warren (Debbie) Hill of Sale Creek; and four grandchildren, Ansley Hill, Ashton Hill both of Dayton, Jace Henderson and Emree Henderson both of Sevierville.
Funeral services for Paul will be held Sunday afternoon at 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Dr. Danny Ruehling officiating. Paul will be laid to rest in Rhea Memory Gardens followed by a white dove release.
