Actress. Born to a Jewish family, she was raised in Brooklyn, New York, where her father worked in the garment industry. After graduating from New York University, she made her Broadway debut in the production "The Wall" (1960 to 1961). During this period, she broke into motion pictures with "The Mask" (1960). She will be remembered for her lengthy career on the small screen in such programs as "The Doctors and the Nurses", "The Defenders", "The Bob Newhart Show" and "Barnaby Jones." She had featured roles on the programs "The Headmaster" (1970), "Melrose Place" (1992 to 1998) and "JAG" (1997 To 2004).
