Laura Louise Wilson, 86, passed away on Sunday, February 23, 2020, in Pascagoula, MS. Laura was born on February 28, 1933, to the late John and Margaret Kramme in Frederic, Maryland. During the many years she worked at Calvary Daycare, she cooked for numerous children, who all adored her and thought of her as a second Mama. Laura will be lovingly remembered for the joy cooking for others brought her and for her amazing spaghetti.
She is survived by her children, James (Lucille) Wilson of Big Point, MS, Wayne (Ann) Wilson of Pascagoula, MS, Dawne (Andrew) Jakubik of Ocean Springs, MS, Donna (Stan) Keith of Waveland, MS, and Timothy (Tomi Lynn) Wilson of Lucedale, MS; 12 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren; along with numerous other relatives and friends.
A visitation for Laura will be held on Wednesday, February 26, 2020, from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m at Heritage Funeral Home in Moss Point, MS. The funeral service will follow in the funeral home chapel beginning at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. James V. Miller and Rev. Tracy Martin officiating. Interment will immediately follow at Wilson Cemetery in Vancleave, MS with Bryan Wilson, Anthony Collum, Bryce Newell, Joshua Hollingsworth, Logan Wilson, and Stan Keith serving as pallbearers.
