Jerry Lee Ballard, 73, of Springfield, died at 12:44 a.m. on Thursday, February 20, 2020, at Generations Nursing Home in Lincoln, IL.
Jerry was born on December 17, 1946, in Pana, IL, the son of Melvin E. and Opal M. (Brown) Ballard.
Jerry attended Southeast High School. He was employed at Cardinal Health for over 20 years. Jerry was a motorhead and had a true passion for cars.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister.
He is survived by one son; one daughter; one brother; and six sisters.
Cremation was provided by Lincoln Land Cremation Society.
