Lucy M. Jones, 97, met the Lord on February 23, 2020 in Carlinville, Illinois. Lucy was formerly of Paoli and Milltown, Indiana. She was born on August 9, 1922 in Corbin, Kentucky to the late Joshua and Eva (Taylor) Setser.
She was a former employee of Paoli Chair. She was a loving and caring mother and a Christian believer.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Jones; a son, Randall Jones; sisters: Fannie Heintz and Dorothea Zink; brothers: Walter Setser and Robert Coy Setser; and a granddaughter, Leisha.
She is survived by her son, Robert L. Jones (Susan); grandchildren: David, Jeffrey, and Steven; many great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews; brother, Frank Setser; sisters, Mary B. Heintz and Sharon Denny.
Funeral services will be on Friday, February 28, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. at the Brown Funeral Home in Milltown, Indiana. Interment will follow in the Kay’s Chapel Cemetery near Fredericksburg, IN. Visitation will be after 11:00 am until time of the service at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Bro. Lloyd B. Roberts will officiate the service.
