Scotts Hill, TN - Flossie Hughes, 89, homemaker, died of heart failure Sunday, July 30, 2000, at the Murray Calloway County Hospital in Murray, KY.


Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Reed's Chapel with burial in Scotts Hill Pentecostal Cemetery.


Mrs. Hughes, the widow of Claude A. Hughes, leaves three daughters, Linda Faye Smith of New Concorde, KY, Claudine Cline of Lyles, TN, and Lavon Lovell of Humble, TX; a sister, Louise McCormick of Scotts Hill; three step-sisters, Lizzie Broadway of Mississippi, and Bertha Yarbro and Gertie Fox, both of Decaturville; a brother, James Williams of Memphis; 10 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, eight step-great-grandchildren and two step-great-great-grandchildren.
