Jewel Dean Lewis Rogers, age 75, of Florence, KY, passed away Thursday, February 27, 2020 at Woodland Hills Care Center, Lawrenceburg, IN. She was a retired Cook at Carmel Manor Care Center in Ft. Thomas, KY and a member of Community Family Church in Independence, KY. Besides cooking, Jewel enjoyed playing piano, eating Chinese food, and traveling (especially her trips out west and to Italy). Her husband Casper Rogers preceded her in death in 2012. She is survived by her children, Kim Miller, Tim G. Rogers (Sheila), and Mark Douglas Rogers; grandchildren, Jamie, Devin, Scotty, Ryan, and Tara; and great grandchildren, Jackie Ray and Elyse. Visitation will be Monday, March 2, 2020 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. with the funeral service immediately following at 1 p.m. at Chambers and Grubbs Funeral Home, 11382 Madison Pike, Independence, KY 41051. Interment will be at Carter’s Chapel Cemetery in Demossville, KY.
