Florence S. (Alexander) Turner, 75, died Tuesday, February 25, 2020, at York Hospital. She was the wife of Gale G. “Gene” Turner, her husband of 49 years.
Florence was born September 20, 1944, in Muskogee, OK, the daughter of the late Zachary A. and Nora J. (Wilson) Alexander.
Florence was a member of Hanover Assembly of God. She was the owner of Turner Auction Gallery and a Past Worthy Matron with the Order of The Eastern Star.
In addition to her husband Gene, Florence is survived by a son, Brian L. Turner of Abbottstown, a stepson, Gale G. Turner, II, of Gettysburg, two grandchildren, and three sisters, Nancy Knob, Brenda Sieg and Cynthia Richardson. She was predeceased by a stepson, Dale A. Turner.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, March 5, 2020, at 2 PM at the New Oxford Cemetery, 4971 York Rd, New Oxford
