ROBERT E. HORNE, age 93, passed away on February 20, 2020. Beloved husband of Catherine A. (nee Herbers); loving father of David (Jackie), Steven (the late Sharon), William Tammy, and Kathleen Antonelli (Mike); dear grandpa of Kenneth, Virginia, Vincent, Elizabeth, Mark, Gina, Margaret, Alexander, Emily, Angela, the late Matthew, the late Anne Marie, Douglas, and Dwight; great-grandpa of Emma, Jack, Clarence J., Anastasia, Barnabas, Benedict, Luciania Rose, Elias, Leo Alexander, E’owyn Maybel, Penelope Iris, Genevive Catherine, Charlie Grace, Jamie Lux, Jordan, Brady, Evelyn, Jalyenah, Jaelynn, and Dezi; cherished son of the late Clarence “Doc” and Clarabelle “Peg”; brother of the late Beverly Echtinacher (Bob) and Donald Horne (Evelyn).
U.S. Navy Veteran. Bob served in the Kiwanis Club for over 50 years, was a Key Club adviser for Benedictine High School, was an initiator for the Reach Out and Read program, and an active participant for Coats for Kids.
