Danny Carol Martin of Albemarle, passed away Saturday, February 22, 2020 at his home.
Mr. Martin was born August 17, 1954 in Robeson County to the late James Thomas Martin and the late Opal Margaret Wilson Martin. He was also preceded in death by son, Christopher Charles Martin; brothers; Jerry Wayne Martin, and Darryl Martin; and sisters, Vicky Martin, Janet Martin Phillips, and Cathy Martin.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM, Saturday, February 29, 2020 at First Baptist Church - Albemarle at 202 N. Second Street. A memorial service, with military honors, will follow at 4:00 PM officiated by Pastor Ryan Clore. .
Survivors include wife, Sandra Diane Martin of Albemarle; sons, Steve Allen Poteet of Newton, Robbie (Teina) Chambers of Albemarle; daughters, Jessica LeAnne Martin of Morganton, Parker Nichole McCoy-Martin of Albemarle; grandchildren, Liam Martin Poteet of Newton, Jaden Shay Martin of Albemarle, Ethan Christopher Martin of Asheville, Skylar Renee Dennis of Troy, Madison Taylor Furr of Wilmington, Samuel Elijah Furr of Albemarle; brothers, David (Audrey) Hurst of Knoxville, Jimmy (Crystal) Martin of Lumberton, Donald (Brenda) Martin of Zephyrhills, FL, Russell (Tammy) Moore of Louisville, TN; and sister, Leslie (Sherry) Britt of Lumberton.
