Baby Hazel Grace Cox, beloved first daughter of Shea and Ellie Cox, was born sleeping on February 23, 2020 weighing 1 pound 6 ounces and measuring 11 inches long.

Although small, she was so fierce. She began her courageous fight and never gave up until God called her to Heaven. Her strength will forever be remembered by the many lives she and her story touched.

Hazel will always remain her Mommy and Daddy’s precious baby, and they will hold her again in Heaven one day.

Hazel is deeply loved and survived by her parents; Shea and Ellie Cox, Maternal Grandparents; Kevin Arrington, Andi Shadrick, Paternal Grandparents; Chris and Crystal Cox, Kim Shipley, Great-Grandparents; Richard and Patsy Shadrick, Tracy and Danease Arrington, Joseph and Minnie Hall, Chuck and Lynn Schmitt, Terry Cooley, Judy Parrot, Aunts and Uncles; Lynsie Burke, Mollie Burke, Ty Arrington, Colby Cox, Jersey Cox, Whitley Keasler. She is also survived by many great aunts, uncles and cousins.

Shea and Ellie would like to thank Dr. Brody, along with all office staff, for their compassion and support.

Visitation will be held for all family and friends at Chattanooga Funeral Home - North Chapel on Thursday, February 27, 2020 from 5:00-8:00pm. Shea and Ellie ask that you wear pink to celebrate their precious baby girl. A private graveside service will be held for family. “There is no foot too small that it cannot leave an imprint on this world.”
