Funeral services for Sue Hill, 86, of Cullman will be at 3 pm, March 1, 2020, at Cullman Church of Christ, with interment in Cullman City Cemetery. She will lie in state from 1 pm to 3 pm prior to the service.

Moss Service Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Sue Hill entered into eternal rest February 25, 2020 at Hanceville Nursing and Rehab. She was a native of Grant, AL.

She loved her children, grandchildren, and her church. She was a faithful member of Cullman Church of Christ for over 60 years.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William Henry Jones and Mettie Mayhall Jones; husband, J. B. Boots Hill; and 9 brothers and sisters; Velma Edmonds, Zelma Campbell, Melba Stewart, Thelridge William Jones, James Felton Jones, William Henry Jones, Jr., Cleo Whitaker, Thomas Neal Jones, Hoyt Glenn Jones.

Survivors include five children, Angie Duncan, Joe Hill (Teresa), Jim Hill (Ann), Amy Farr (Bruce), and Jeff Hill; grandchildren, Susan Harper (Scott), John Hill (Kendall), Jesse Farr, Jake Farr, Joey Farr (Meredith), Caroline Hill, Anna Hill; sister-in-law Ione Jones; and a host of cousins, nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be John Hill, Jesse Farr, Jake Farr, Joey Farr, Scott Harper and Billy Jones.

The family wishes to express their appreciation for the excellent care received from Hanceville Nursing and Rehab and Southern Care Hospice.

The family request that in lieu of flowers, memorials be made to the Alzheimer’s Association or Cullman Church of Christ Building Fund, 4345 Alabama Highway 157, Cullman, AL 35058 or Kate Duncan Smith DAR School, 607 Main Street, Grant, AL 35747.
