Larry Gene Latham, age 79, passed away on Saturday, February 22, 2020, in Marietta, GA surrounded by his loving family.

Larry was born on October 13, 1940, in Lima, OH, to the late Waldo and Mary (Taylor) Latham. On January 19, 1964 he married Sandra (Vlachos) Latham, who survives in Marietta, GA.

Larry was a 1959 graduate of Lima Senior High and served 4 years in the U.S. Air Force. Mr. Latham had a successful career as a Disaster Coordinator with the Federal government.

Larry leaves behind his loving wife; daughters: Jennifer Hooper, Anne Day, and Patricia Latham; grandchildren: Steven Hooper, James White, Deborah White, Crystal White; Steven and Brittneigh; and one great-grandchild, Canaan. He was preceded in death by his parents and grandson, Alex Hooper.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, March 3, 2020 at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home, Lima, Ohio. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service. Rev. Joshua Andrews will officiate. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery, Lima.
