She was a graduate of Kings College and a charter member of High Point Baptist Church, Pageland, where she had served as a Sunday School teacher, Vacation Bible School volunteer and member of the WMU. She retired from Springs Industries as an administrative assistant. She was married to the late William Lee Taylor, Jr. Surviving are her daughter, Patti Taylor Hinson and her husband Ronnie of Heath Springs; 2 grandchildren, Rebekah H. Welborn and her husband Tice of Simpsonville and John D. Hinson of Atlanta, GA; 3 great grandchildren, Clay Welborn, Rhett Welborn and Vivian Welborn; a sister, Ernestine Cato Blakeney of Pageland and 2 nieces, Andi Hill and her husband Wayne of Timmonsville, and Lori Bellamy and her husband Robert of Myrtle Beach.
