Funeral services for Jamie Lynn Jordan will be held on Friday, February 28th, 2020 at 10:00 AM at Reed-Culver Chapel with Reverend David Wiens officiating. She will be laid to rest at Barber Cemetery next to her Dad. A visitation will be held Thursday, February 27th, 2020 from 1:00 PM until 6:00 PM at Reed-Culver Funeral Home. Jamie Lynn (Deckard) Jordan was born in Tahlequah, OK on Thursday, September 21, 1972 to Luther James Jr. and Lula Mae (Sellers) Deckard. She was raised with her sister, Julia, and graduated from Tahlequah High School. She married and raised a son, James Doyle Spencer, and later raised a nephew, Billy Curry, following his mother’s passing. She worked as a Sanitation Technician at NSU for years, and always loved to talk to the many people she met each day. She possessed a unique personality, always taking time to help anyone that needed her. She could be stubborn but always let people she loved know how much they meant to her. She was always in the company of her little dog, Hazel. Jamie loved to go out with her friends and enjoy a little fun at the casino or maybe listen to a little country and western music. There was nothing more exciting than a rodeo or more relaxing than a day at the river, fishing. Her health began to fail her and she lived with her Aunt Glenda, until it finally became necessary for her to seek long term care. She passed from this life on Sunday the 23rd day of February in Tulsa, OK, with her family by her side. She was 47 years old and will be greatly missed.
Jamie was preceded in death by her parents, Luther Jr. and Lula, grandparents, Luther Sr. and Edna Deckard and Sally Sellers, and one sister, Julia Curry.
Jamie leaves behind one son, James Doyle Spencer or Briggs, OK, and one nephew, Billy Curry as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, and a host of friends and loved ones.
