Betty graduated from Homer High School and had worked for Aeroquip in the Industrial Engineer Department. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of LDS in Jonesville and enjoyed her pets, gardening, working in her flower beds and collecting and restoring antiques. Betty was known for her pie baking, especially her cherry and peach pies and her homemade candy and cookies that she would make every Christmas. She also was known for her love of fixing up old homes and making them beautiful. Betty loved her family and looked forward to having their weekly Sunday dinners.
In addition to her husband of 66 years, Robert, Betty is survived by her daughter, Pam (William) Okley of Jackson; sons, Kent Fleming and Mark (Lola) Fleming all of Jackson and Eric (Bonnie) Fleming of Concord; twelve grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
Betty was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Wayne Bender.
Funeral services for Betty Lucille Fleming will be held Friday, February 28, 2020 at 11:00 AM at the Eagle Funeral Home-George White Chapel in Litchfield with Brothers Lambert Hirum, Orson P. Cardon Jr. and Gerald Bender officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Hope Cemetery in Litchfield. The family will receive friends for visitation from 10:00 AM until the time of service at the funeral home.
