Patsy Allen Davis, 81, of Gray, went home to be with her Lord on Sunday, January 12, 2020. She was born in Washington County and was the daughter of the late Tommy and Bonita Crouch Allen.

In addition to her parents, Patsy was preceded in death by her son, Eddie Lynn Davis, sister, Cathy Abellanida, brother, Jimmy Dale Allen.

She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Patsy always had a smile on her face for everyone she met. She was a member of Jesus Christ’s church, which He bought and paid for with His life.

Those left to cherish Patsy’s memory include her devoted husband of sixty two years, Reverend Ed Davis, her daughter, Judy Miller and her husband Freddie, grandchildren: Crystal Smith (Tommy), Jennifer Collins (Kevin); great-grandchildren: Brandon Mensch (Autumn), Kailee Smith, Danielle Collins; great-great-grandchildren: Renee Garland, and Nathaniel Garland, Jonah Garland; sister, Laverne Akina, brother, Lowell Allen, several nieces and nephews.

The family will greet friends to share memories from 5:00 pm on Friday, January 17, 2020 until a Celebration of Patsy’s life at 7:00 pm in the Sunrise Chapel of Tetrick Funeral Services, Johnson City with Pastor Lyons Smith and Pastor Earl Bailey officiating. A Graveside service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday at Cherokee Community Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Leo Rymer, David Castle, Donnie Harris, Shean Hobbs, Randy English, and Eddie McAmis. Other minister friends will serve as honorary pallbearers. Everyone is asked to meet at the cemetery by 10:50 am.

The family would like to offer a special thank you to the staffs of Ballad and Avalon hospice for the loving care provided to Patsy.
