Lowell was a member of Shady Grove United Methodist Church. Lowell was a dedicated Classification Supervisor for many years at Calhoun Correctional Institution before retiring and opening Uncle Buds Sausage House in Grand Ridge which he owned and operated for several years. He was a hard-working, kind-hearted, dedicated man who loved his family and church family. Lowell enjoyed woodworking and was a Mason and member of the Grand Ridge Lodge #169. He was a kind and gentle person who worked tirelessly to provide for his family. Lowell will be dearly missed but never forgotten.

a daughter and her husband
five grandchildren
eight great grandchildren
three sisters and a brother-in-law
two brothers and two sisters-in-law
a host of cousins, nieces, nephews and other extended family members
Lowell was preceded in death by:
his parents, John B. Duce, Sr. and Grace Duce
one sister, Kathy Duce
one brother, Byron Duce
a daughter, Sheila Duce Taylor
Funeral Services were held on Saturday, February 29, 2020 at McAlpin Funeral Home in Sneads, FL with Rev. Joel Wasson officiating. Interment followed at Shady Grove Cemetery in Grand Ridge, FL.
