Bobby H. Dean, Jr. Staunton - Bobby H. Dean, Jr., 49, of 41 Second Street, passed away Monday, September 17, 2018 in Augusta Health in Fishersville. Mr. Dean was born on January 22, 1969 in Staunton, a son of Patsy Alice (Bunch) Smith and the late Bobby Harry Dean, Sr. Bobby was a truck driver, he enjoyed walking and exercising and time with his family. In addition to his father, Mr. Dean was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Warren William and Sarah Bunch. Surviving in addition to his mother, is his step-father, David L. Smith of Staunton; a step-sister, Shannon Taylor and her children, Brandon Roughgarden, Zac Taylor, and Jalen Taylor; a great-niece, Makinlee Taylor; all of Staunton and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, September 20, 2018 in the Coffman Funeral Home and Crematory and other times at the residence. A Graveside service will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Friday, September 21, 2018 in the New Hope United Methodist Church Cemetery by Rev. William "Bill" Trice. The family would like to extend a sincere "Thank You" to Augusta Health Home Care and caregiver, Melanie for the special care given to Bobby during his illness. It is suggested those desiring make memorial contributions to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, Tennessee 38105-1942.
