June 20, 1940 - February 24, 2020 Arnold Lee Gibson, age 79 of Pikeville, Kentucky passed away Monday, February 24, 2020 at the Pikeville Nursing and Rehab Center.

He was manager and operator of Main Street Parking. He had worked as a construction contractor and maintenance for Wells Fargo. He was a Christian.

Arnold was born in Pikeville, Kentucky on June 20, 1940 the son of the late Phines and Lizzie (Osborne) Gibson.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Clester Gibson and a sister, Gladys Gibson.

He is survived by his wife, Lora Elizabeth Ratliff Gibson and one son, Arnold Darren Gibson (Sheila) of Pikeville and one daughter, Lorieca Ellen Marcum (George) of Pikeville.

He is also survived by two sisters, Betty Johnston of Columbus, Ohio and Yvonne Hall of Pikeville, Ky. and also nieces and nephews, Jack Gibson, Tim Walters, Carl Wesley Gibson, Clester Gibson Jr., Betty Grace Gibson and Michael Edward Hall.

Arnold was a kind and loving person and will be missed by his many friends and family. Funeral will be held at the funeral home with Billy Compton and Donnie Hall officiating. Burial in the Davidson Memorial Gardens at Ivel, Ky.
