In 1947 he married Christine (Harris) Young and had four children together.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Christine, and their son, Michael.
Survivors include his children, Victoria Young, Larry Young and Karen Neely; 5 grandchildren, Brandi Justice (Benjamin), Astin Childs (Mo), Jenna Elliott (Josh), Nick Williams (Bridget) and Brad Neely; 8 great grandchildren, Elle, Jackson, Cohen, Brady, Caden, Tanner, Leo and Chloe.
Clifford served in World War II as a Staff Sargent, landing on Omaha Beach on D-Day. He received numerous medals including a Bronze Star.
Services are at Wilson St. Pierre Funeral Service & Crematory, Greenwood Chapel on Saturday, February 29 at 2:00 PM with visitation from 12:00 noon until time of service. Burial will follow with full military honors at Greenwood Cemetery.
