Kathleen Randall Price, 87 years 9 months and 27 days of age, departed this life on Monday, February 24th, 2020 at the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital in Somerset, Kentucky.
Kathleen was born in Shopville, Kentucky on Thursday, April 28th, 1932, daughter of the late Jay and Clara Chaney Randall. She enjoyed cooking big meals for her family, flowers, and word puzzle books. Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren were her greatest joy.
Kathleen was survived by her long time companion, Roger Slaven; two daughters, Lois Mounce and Janice Willis; one son, Roger Dale Price; a son-in-law, Bruce Sandidge; one brother, Everett Randall; two sisters, Juanita Poynter and Mary Jane Cadwallader; nine grandchildren, Kevin, Amy, Jason, Allen, Chris, Nathan, Shawn, Jamie, and Daniel; twelve great-grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Hunter, Christopher, Alex, Jayden, Corbyn, Brett, Abbinee, Bixleigh, Aria, Addilyn, and Jayden; and a host of other family and friends who mourn her passing.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Jay Randall, who departed this life on March 9th, 1979 and Clara Randall, who departed this life on August 20th, 1998; her husband, Lowell J. Price, who departed this life on February 20th, 1974; three brothers, Floyd Randall, Bobby Randall, and Harold Randall; one daughter, Rhonda Kay Sandidge, who departed this life on March 12th, 2017; and a son-in-law, Howard Mounce.
Visitations were held from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 26th, 2020 at the Pulaski Funeral Home in Somerset, Kentucky.
Funeral services were held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, February 27th, 2020 in the Chapel of the Pulaski Funeral Home with Bro. Jesse McCoy officiating.
Burial followed in the Burkhart Cemetery also known as the Fellowship - Burkhart Cemetery in Shopville, Kentucky.
