Joseph Warren Dowd, 47, of Dorr Drive, Chepachet, died yesterday at Fogarty Memorial Hospital.
Born in Providence, a son of Blanche M. (Fague) Dowd, and the late Merrill D. Dowd, he lived in Greenville until he was six.
Mr. Dowd was a member of the Glocester Heritage Society.
Besides his mother he is survived by two sisters.
