Ima "Jean" Smith passed away peacefully on 2/22/2020 with Hospice services in place.

Strong, independent, spunky, and devoted, she was born in Harlan, KY on 3/23/1923.

Preceded in death by her parents, Zachariah and Daisy Cogdill, and eldest daughter, Lois Parks.

She is survived by 4 children: Glenda (Charles) Randall; Ken (Betty) Ramsey, Carol (Eddie) Deaton, and Anthony Smith.
Grandchildren: Angie Abate, Jodie (Tommy) Bowen; James (Marcy) Deaton; Nikki Ramsey; Tonia, Lori, and Aaron (Susan) Wentz; Jamie & Michelle Parks.
Numerous great and great-great grandchildren...and even a couple great-great-great grandkids!

Special mention to Robert and Phyllis Lewis.

She was a firecracker that sparked our time together with love and laughter and will be greatly missed.

Private graveside service 2/25/2020 at 11am. Final resting place: Dayton Memorial Cemetery.
