Services for Jack Kenneth Hubbard, 88 of Thomasville will be held at 3:00 pm, Thursday, February 27, 2020 at First Baptist Church Chapel. Rev. Dr. Thomas A. Kinchen and Bryan Siceloff will officiate and interment will follow at Laurel Hill Cemetery. Mr. Hubbard went to be with the Lord on Sunday, February 23, 2020 at Archbold Hospital, surrounded by his family. He was born on August 18, 1931, in Thomasville to the late James Hubbard and Bessie Wilson Hubbard. Soon after graduating from Thomasville High School, he joined the U.S. Air Force in which he proudly served his country from 1951-1955. On December 19, 1952, he married Lucille Parramore with whom he recently celebrated 67 years of marriage. Mr. Hubbard was a retired salesman for Sunnyland Foods. He loved traveling with his wife and being outdoors including hunting, fishing, and most of all camping in the North Georgia Mountains at Vogel State Park and spending the day listening to gospel music at the Georgia Mountain Fair. He loved working with his hands making wood crafts. He was a wonderful father and grandfather and enjoyed spending time with his family and sharing many stories from his childhood and his travels while in the Air Force. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Thomasville. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Lucille Hubbard; children, Jerry Hubbard and wife Jackie, Gerry Hubbard and wife Mitzi and Sonja Howell and husband Kenny, all of Thomasville; grandchildren, Nikole & Scott Waldrep, Kyle & Katie Siceloff, Adam & Blair Hubbard, Bryan & Mandi Siceloff, Keith Hubbard and Rachel & Logan Hampton; great-grandchildren, Brooke & Caleb Cearley, Lily Waldrep, Scottie Waldrep, Claire Siceloff, Olivia Siceloff, Jackson Siceloff, August Siceloff, Kayleigh Hubbard, Addison Hubbard and Turner Hubbard and great great-granddaughter, Caroline Cearley. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Joyce Hubbard Taylor.
