Carolyn C Ray, age 87, of Cullman, Alabama passed away on Sunday February 23, 2020. Carolyn was born July 26, 1932 to James E. and Clarice Bates Caldwell.
Carolyn gave her heart and life to the Lord at the age of nine years old and has faithfully loved and served Him. Her love for her Lord spread to all of those around her. Everyone that met her would say she was the sweetest, most caring lady they had ever met. She loved her family and she was lovingly known as MawMaw to her grands and great grands, whom she adored. She delighted in preparing the family meal every Sunday for many, many years. She was a faithful and dedicated member of the First Baptist Church of Cullman, Lydia’s Sunday school class and served many years in the music department as secretary. She enjoyed working in her flower and rose gardens.
She is preceded in death by her parents; son Jack N. Ray, Jr.; grandson, Levi Lindsey and sister, Phyllis Milkins.
She leaves to cherish her memory her husband of 68 years, son, daughter, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
The Celebration of Life Funeral Service for Mrs. Carolyn Ray was in the chapel of Moss Service on February 28, 2020. Burial followed at Cullman Memory Gardens.
