Ryan D. McCormick, 29, Marion, tragically and unexpectedly passed away on Tuesday, February 18, 2020, just six days after the one-year anniversary of losing his soulmate and wife, Sharon McCormick.

Ryan was born in Marion on Saturday, December 8, 1990, to Robert Dean McCormick and Tracy Renee Chalmers. He attended Blackford High School and worked in the factory. He liked to work on cars, ride motorcycles, and go camping. He especially loved to spend time with family. He was truly one of a kind and you either hated or loved him. More times than not, though, he was loved and accepted by anyone who took the time to get to know him. He could make you laugh on your worst days and would do anything for his family and friends. He always stood his ground for what he believed in. Ryan will be deeply missed and forever remembered by everyone who knew him.

He is survived by his parents; son, Zachery Eldridge; sister, Chelsea Renee (Steven) Cook; brother, Dustin McCormick; uncles, Charles McCormick and Allen (Becky) Collins; aunts, Tina Higginbotham, Lisa McDermitt, Karterina (Ruben) Rodriguez, and Tonya McCormick; and nephews, Tyler Ryan Malone McCormick, Trayven Robert Allen McCormick, and Brantley Steven Coal McCormick.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Sharon; grandmothers, Alta Chalmers and Alberta Veler; and grandfather, Charles McCormick.

The family will receive visitors from 11:00 am to 12:00 noon on Monday, March 2, 2020, at Grant Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel, 1606 W. 26th St., Marion, IN.

Immediately following the time of visitation, a funeral service to celebrate Ryan's life will begin at 12:00 noon. Pastor Alan Hutson will be officiating.

Arrangements are entrusted to Integrity Funeral Care, 2901 S. Washington St., Marion, IN.
