Treasuring the beauty of the outdoors, Barbara had a green thumb, planting and tending many varieties of flowers and plants. She was a selfless person, always taking care of others’ needs before her own. Barbara liked the view and adventure of the open road while on a motorcycle. Always finding a task or project, Barbara had an unmatched work ethic. One thing is for sure, she was proud of her children and grandchildren. Her love has spread throughout the family and to those around her life. Many will mourn her passing and multitudes will cherish the memories. She will be deeply missed.
Barbara is preceded in death by her parents; and three brothers: Bobby Bourgoin, Donnie Bourgoin, and Jim Bourgoin.
She is survived by her husband of 12 years, Danny Hightshoe; son, Mark Bonds of Little Rock, Arkansas; son, Chris (Jillian) Bonds of Greenbrier, Arkansas; daughter, Allison (Ben) Pugh of Springfield, Missouri; and grandchildren: Kylie Bonds Oaks, Quinton Wadsworth, Chase Bailey, and Isaac Wadsworth.
A memorial will be planned for a later time. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Lung Cancer Foundation (www.lcfamerica.org). To leave an online condolence, please visit www.cremationsoftheozarks.com.
