Flora Abshire
December 4, 1952 - February 23, 2020 Flora "Flo" G. Abshire, 67, of Pikeville, KY, passed away at the Pikeville Nursing and Rehabilitation Center on February 23, 2020. Flora was born on December 4, 1952 to Sterling and Ellen (Ramey) Smith.
Flora is preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Billy Smith and Sterling "Bud" Smith.
She is survived by her beloved husband, Stevie Abshire of Pikeville, as well as her two cherished daughters, Misty Abshire and Mitzi (Lester) Stapleton both of Pikeville. She is also survived by two sisters, Nell Mills and Lucille Marsee both of Michigan; one grandson, Connor Stapleton; and one grand dog, Roxie.
Flora will also be forever remembered by her numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and dear friends. Burial in the Annie E. Young Cemetery in Shelbiana, Ky.
