Stoker. Married 1934 Bergen with Nicoline. One child. Was at sea during the First World War and was subjected to several torpedo attacks. During World War II, he fist served as a stoker aboard DS Ariadne until the ship was torpedoed in April 1940. Went to the UK and got on board another ship. Was again torpedoed and contracted injuries that prevented him from going to sea again. Enlisted to the Norwegian Brigade and served there until he died of pneumonia at a hospital in Edinburgh
