Mrs. Lois “Honey” Irene Adams departed this life Sunday, February 23, 2020 at Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House in Jonesboro, AR at the age of 89 years, 9 months.. She was born Friday, May 23, 1930 in Bay, AR and lived most of her lifetime in Trumann. She was a former school teacher for Lunsford School, a homemaker and was a member of Viva Drive Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her husband Grant Myron Adams; two sons, Stephen Lynn Adams and Allan Grant Adams; 3 sisters; and 5 brothers and her parents, E. B. and Johnnie Rickman Cochran.

She is survived by one daughter, Susan Smith and husband Billy of Trumann; one sister Lovis “Teet” Fults of Bay; five grandchildren, Adam Coin, Leslie and Zachery McCamey, Lauren and Jacob Sawyer, Hunter and Breah Adams and Hanna and Maddison Guinn; ten great-grandchildren, Grant Burrow, Kinley Burrow, Madison McCamey, Max Sawyer, Ben Sawyer, Sam Sawyer, Fallon Adams, Tessa Adams, Greyson Guinn and Sloane Guinn.

Visitation will be Tuesday evening from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Thompson Funeral Home in Trumann.

A Celebration of Life will be Wednesday morning at 10:00 a.m. in the chapel of Thompson Funeral Home with Bill Willard and Joe Spangler officiating. Burial will follow at Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery in Jonesboro, AR.
