FORT WAYNE, Ind. — Heather Ann Poe, 45, passed away at her residence Tuesday, Feb. 11, 2020. She was born in Van Wert, Ohio, on May 6, 1974, to Bobbie Poe and William (Lisa) Poe.
She was preceded in death by grandparents, David Poe, Robert Shinabery and Ethel Shinabery, as well as Aunt Deborah (Poe) Ainsworth and Uncle Michael Shinabery.
Heather will be forever missed by her four children, Markee Rase, Drake Sosenheimer, Kedrick Sosenheimer, and Hunter Sosenheimer as well as her three beautiful grandchildren, Levi, Marlee and Kyler.
Survivors also include grandmother, Ruth Poe of Van Wert; a brother, William (Brittany) Poe II of Van Wert; a sister, Lisa (Jill) Poe of Ottoville, Ohio; and nieces and a nephew.
Heather graduated from Delphos St John’s High School in 1992.
She was a very friendly outgoing person who enjoyed baking and sharing her baked goods with friends and family. She formerly worked in the Easter Seals ARC program of Northeast Indiana helping families of special needs children.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, March 7, 2020, at The VFW in Van Wert from 2-5 p.m. with a memorial service held at 5 p.m. We welcome anyone wishing to come celebrate Heather’s life.
