Son of Otis Albert and Christine H. Hargis Oaks.
Survivors include his companion Marlene Domzalski; brother Joseph A. Oaks; aunts Ethel Oaks and Mae Delk; step-daughters Angie and Diana Santiago; grandchildren T.J. and Gabby Santiago; many cousins including Cheryl (Eddie) Collins; many friends; Tigger (the cat) his buddy of 15 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Richard Lee Oaks.
1993 graduate of Crawfordsville High School.
He was a nursing assistant at Ben Hur Nursing and Rehabilitation and Williamsburg Health Care.
Cremation was chosen.
Memorial contributions to the funeral home to assist with final expenses.
