Eddie was a long haul commercial truck driver and liked to operate heavy equipment of any kind. He enjoyed working and loved taking care of his lawn and garden. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Mountain City.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister-in-law, Kathy Cuddy Arnold. Eddie is survived by his wife, Linda Buchanan Arnold; daughter, Tammy Arnold Mannis and husband Gary; son, Freddie Joe Arnold and wife Ruby; sister, Karen Long and husband David of St. Matthews, South Carolina; brothers, Frank Arnold and wife Barbara and Steve Arnold; grandchildren, Michael Mannis and wife Johnna, Brady Joe Arnold, Christopher James Mannis, Jacob Lee Mannis and Samantha Arnold; special nephew, Douglas Arnold, several other nieces and nephews and many special friends also survive.
