Roger Dale Morris, 60, native and resident of Kirbyville transitioned Wednesday, February 12, 2020. Funeral service will be Saturday, February 22, 2020 at 11:00 AM at the Pilgrim Rest Missionary Baptist Church in Kirbyville. Visitation will be 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM prior to the service. Interment will follow at the West Green Lawn Cemetery under the direction of Coleman’s Mortuary in Jasper.
Roger Morris was born December 10, 1959 to the late Ernest and Johnnie Mae Kyles Morris. Roger graduated from Kirbyville High School in 1978.
Roger was united with Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church at an early age. He was employed by various companies in the trucking industry.
He leaves to remember him in love: brother, Clark (Liz) of Beaumont, Texas; nephews, Herbert (Gloria) Collins and Sterling Collins both of Houston, Texas; nieces, Paula Collins and Attionette Collins of Beaumont, Texas; great-nephew, Jason Brown of Houston, Texas, Joshua Brown of Kirbyville, Texas and a host of cousins, other relatives and friends.
