Carolyn Jean King, age 67, of Falmouth, Kentucky, passed away on February 21, 2020, at Saint Elizabeth Healthcare, in Edgewood, Kentucky. She was born on June 5, 1952, to Gerald Dean “Pete” and Hazel Teegarden Allender. She was a factory worker for Scholl’s. Carolyn was very family oriented and fun loving, and she loved to make people laugh. She never met a stranger. She would always know someone everywhere she went, even on vacation. She also loved being a part of the activities at the Pendleton County Senior Center.

She was preceded in death by: her parents; her husband, James Earl King, Jr., in 2015; and a daughter, Angela Kaye King, in 1974. She leaves behind: two loving daughters, Jennifer Harvey and Lisa King; a brother, Rodney Allender; a sister, Elizabeth Winkle; and two grandchildren, Carson King and Israela Harvey.

A visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 26, at Cooper Funeral Home, in Alexandria, Kentucky. The funeral service will begin at 12:00 p.m., with burial to follow at Riverside Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to Cooper Funeral Home.
