Mrs. Becky J. LaFevers Wright, 69, of Jefferson City, Mo., died Monday, February 17, 2020 in Miami, Florida surrounded by her family.

Becky was born November 25, 1950 in Vandalia, Illinois a daughter of Ancil T. and Betty M. (Stice) LaFevers. She was married on June 17, 1972 in Fulton, Mo. to Ernest T. “Ernie” Wright.

Becky was a 1969 high school graduate in St. Paul, Minnesota and attended Williams Woods College in Fulton, Mo.

A resident of the Jefferson City area for most of her life, Becky was employed with the Missouri Farm Bureau for 34 years prior to her retirement in 2008.

She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandkids.

Survivors include: her husband of 47 years, Ernie Wright; daughter, Amanda Braman (Rod) of Jefferson City, Mo.; grandchildren, Justin Braman and Shyann Braman; sister, Nancy LaFevers of Payson, Arizona; sisters-in-law, Lee Flowers (Mike) of Rolla, Mo. and Susan Heath (Vernon) of Jefferson City, Mo.; and numerous nieces, nephews, coworkers and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and sister-in-law, Sherrye Lynn Nilson.

Visitation will be held at Freeman Mortuary from 10:00 until 11:00 am Friday, February 28, 2020 with a memorial service held at 11:00 am with Rick Yoder officiating. A private family entombment will be held at the Mausoluem of Hawthorn Memorial Gardens.
