Christine M. Prince (nee Cervantes), age 80, passed away peacefully on February 22, 2020. She was the beloved mother of William Prince, Jeffrey Prince and the late Douglas Prince. She was the dear sister of Richard Cervantes. She was the cherished grandma of Kristi De Lucia and her husband Peter and Alison Gaeta and her husband Matthew. She was the devoted nanny of Emma Grace De Lucia and Kyleigh Rose Gaeta.

Christine enjoyed a very full and meaningful life. She had many hobbies including gardening, baking and particularly cooking many wonderful meals that those closest to her looked forward to. She was also a fan of all sports, especially watching tennis, ice skating and golf. Christine loved seeing Broadway shows and visiting the city with her grandchildren, family and friends. In her spare time she would read a large variety of mystery books. The time she spent with her family was most precious to her. Christine would call family and friends on their birthday and sing the happy birthday song to them on their special day, always bringing a smile to their faces. She was a very religious woman always thinking of others and offering up prayers to those in need. Christine will be remembered as a generous, trustworthy and selfless person who had a deep concern for the well being of others. She will be dearly missed by all who had the pleasure to know her.

Funeral from the Matthew Funeral Home, Inc., 2508 Victory Boulevard, on Tuesday, 2/25/2020, departing at 9:15 AM. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Anthony of Padua R.C. Church at 10:00 AM. A private cremation to follow. Family and friends may visit on Monday, 2/24/2020 from 5:00 and 9:00 PM.
