Ernest “Butch” Ramsey, 73, Inverness, Florida passed away January 7, 2020 at Advent Health Hospital in Ocala, FL. Butch was born on October 9, 1946 in Monroe, MI to Ernest William Ramsey, Sr. and Mary Ann Thomas Ramsey. He was a professional musician for most of his life, playing in traveling bands around the country as well as locally. Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 28 years, Judy (Harvey) Ramsey; his 5 children, several brothers and sisters, grandchildren and great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Butch’s life will be remembered at a Celebration of Life on Sunday, January 19th at 2:00 PM from Barb’s Barn Country Music, 10191 C.R. 223, Oxford, FL. All of Butch’s family and friends are invited. Private burial will be in Oak Ridge Cemetery, Inverness, FL.
